Christmas 2024 and New Year Opening

We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous 2025.

If you become unwell while the surgery is closed, call 11 and you will be directed appropriately. Similarly, please endeavor to order your repeat prescriptions on time. We are able to send them electronically to the Pharmacy of your choice within 48 business hours.

The weeks preceding Christmas and New Year are the busiest for Pharmacies and the Practice. Due to the limited number of clinicians available during these weeks, we will be offering same day appointments only at the Practice. We therefore ask that you please consider this when requesting GP appointments. 

Veteran Friendly GP Practice

We are proud to inform all of our patients that we have recently received accreditation as a veteran friendly practice. This means that, as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated Clinician who has a special interest in military related health conditions and veteran specific health services.

This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment. The accreditation will support us better in identifying veterans so that we can manage a register to ensure their care is well managed. It also means that the NHS is better able to meet the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, whereby the Armed Forces community, including veterans, should face no disadvantage in accessing health services and should receive priority care for military attributable conditions, subject to clinical need.

Please let us know if you or a member of your family have ever served in the UK armed forces so that we add you to our register. The Veteran Friendly Practices accreditation scheme is run by the Royal College of General Practitioners in partnership with NHS England and NHS Improvement.

People's Choice Award

Lewisham General Practice Excellence Awards 2024

The Lewisham General Practice Excellence Awards are organised by the Lewisham CEPN Training hub with colleagues from NHS South East London ICB).They will recognise the outstanding contributions by staff working in general practice in Lewisham.

This online nomination form is for patients and the public to nominate an individual working in general practice in Lewisham (who can be a clinical or non-clinical member of staff) who goes above and beyond when providing care to patients to recognise their hard work and local contributions. An independent panel will review nominations and select a winner based on the information submitted.

Please note that only those working in general practice in Lewisham are eligible to be nominated. The deadline for nominations is Monday 16th December 2024.
