Use of AI in Your Consultation

At Wells Park Practice we are committed to improving patient care and making the best use of technology to support our clinicians.

As part of this, we use a secure NHS-approved tool called Accurx Scribe or Heidi, which helps clinicians create accurate notes during consultations.

How this works

During your consultation, your clinician may use Accurx Scribe or Heidi to:

• Capture key points from the conversation
• Generate a draft clinical note

This allows your clinician to spend more time focusing on you, rather than typing.

All information recorded is carefully reviewed and approved by your clinician before being added to your medical record.

Your privacy and data security

We take your confidentiality seriously:

• Your information is handled in line with UK GDPR and NHS data protection standards
• Both tools are trusted NHS suppliers and meet strict information governance requirements
• Your data is securely processed and not used for decision-making without clinician oversight

Your choice - If you prefer not to have this technology used during your consultation, please inform your clinician at the start of your appointment
